Booking of appointment

Dog Walk will be for the full duration of time booked, this includes travelling time one way, approx. 10/15 mins.

Dog will be collected from home address and transported to nearby walking location.

Dogs are walked in small controlled social groups, unless individual walk requested.

Dog Walk will be mapped and photo taken for your feedback.

Dog’s paws will be cleaned to a good standard, towel must be provided by owner and left at

Pet Visit will be for the full duration of time outlined in booking confirmation.

Pet Visit will be completed to agreed requirements of the owner.

Pet Visits a photo will be taken and feedback provided.



Owner is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations,flea, tick and de-wormer treatments.


Owner is to make full disclosure when filling out the ‘Registration Form’ of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog/pet not suitable for walking or home visits; including health problems, antisocial behaviour; including aggression. Wigston Walkies reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be dangerous or disruptive.

Owner will provide Wigston Walkies with a name and contact telephone number of someone capable of making a decision relating to their dog/pet in an emergency. A nominated vet’s details will also be recorded. The Dog Walker will make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency.


Wigston Walkies reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog/pets health, at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by The Dog Walker.


Wigston Walkies will not walk a female dog whilst in season.



Keys and paperwork will be kept in separate secure locations. Keys will be distinguishable to Wigston Walkies, however no address information will be attached with the keys. Personal information will not be passed to 3rd parties. Owner will accept and sign a Key Holder Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability.


Wigston Walkies has public liability through Direct Line Insurance.

Wigston Walkies cannot be held liable for any damage, loss, injury, illness or death of the dog/pet. Owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to owners property.

 It is recommended that owners will have their own full insurance cover. Wigston Walkies reserves the right to refuse a booking for any uninsured dog/pet.


On request that the owner allows their dog to be off the lead, they will need to accept and sign off the lead consent form.


In the event of extreme weather conditions, Wigston Walkies reserves the right to withdraw from the service at any point for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.


A 50% payment will need to be made up front prior to the booked appointment. Full payment can then be made by the end of each week. Payment will be accepted as cash or bank transfer.


Owner must cancel booked appointment 24 hours prior to start time. Any cancellations after this period full charge for that day’ service will still be applicable.

The Owner agrees to provide keys/arrange access to the dog for the agreed appointment; failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that day’s service and will be paid in full by the owner.

I reserve the right to cancel at short notice, if such an eventuality should occur a full refund will be given.

All above Terms and Conditions will be signed and accepted an by the owner before any appointments can be made.
